No, this is probably an effect of shooting through a windshield.

But if they can shoot down a surprise meteorite, they would be well ahead of anyone else.

Of course I'm going to have a different viewpoint altogether... surprised?

Shot down? No. Matter of fact, I don't even believe it was a meteorite.

Missile? Weapon of mass destruction? No, and no, to that as well.

I DO believe that this sighting, others like it in the past and many, many more yet to come; are scientific experiements creating man-made plasma balls and trying to control their trajectory. Tesla technology? You bet.

I think I remember having 3 or 4 plasma balls at the LAX airport bar...

shortly there after I didn't care one bit about the layover ;)
